Double shot of Vitamin C to nourish and detox your body.

Vitamin C is one of the most powerful nutrients known to man. The most inexpensive vitamin C is ascorbic acid which you can get in bulk size, although other high quality forms and alkaline versions are available. Vitamin C or ascorbic acid is beneficial for many different reason:
It helps prevent withdrawal symptoms and keeps your bowel movements going. It protects your DNA from free radical damage.

Vitamin C helps the body manufacture collagen, vital for the health of our skin and all our tissues including repair of blood vessels, teeth, joints and bones.
It helps to normalize blood pressure, while warding off degenerative diseases and premature aging, and it is vital source of immunity against viruses, bacteria and other microbes that prey negatively in our body.
Vitamin C is important in the synthesis of brain chemicals such as our happy mood-serotonin.
A good amount of Vitamin C helps your skin maintain its youthful look. The best source of vitamin C comes directly from our plant based diet.
But as effective as it is, vitamin C cannot work unless it gets into the bloodstream. Traditional vitamin pills and powders when taken are vulnerable to the digestive system and can be flushed out of the body without any benefits to the person taking it. But i came across something called Lypo-Spheric products containing liposomes--made from Essential Phospholipids---that protects the active nutrients from been destroyed by digestive enzymes in the digestive system. Within minutes, this nutrient filled “smart” Lyposomal Nano-Spheres bypass the absorption barriers in the digestive system intact and then enter the cells --ready to work wonders.

Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C also known as Liposomal Vitamin C helps support a healthy immune system and optimal overall health. It promotes muscle repair and recovery. It improves metabolism and excretion of toxic in the colon. Liposomal vitamin C has been proclaimed effective against cancer and other inflammatory diseases like a sore throat. But to get the same amount of benefit liposomal vitamin c provides for the body from a regular vitamin C pill or powder, You would have to take 1 heaping teaspoon (4 grams) per day or 2 packets, when you first start detoxifying. During stressful times (either emotional or from illness) more doses are required, especially when you are eating lots of carbs.
When taken in very high doses (10 or 100 grams or more per day, depending upon the person’s requirements and illness) vitamin C helps challenged body to recover from some types cancer, colds, toxicity or diseases.
Keep in mind that vitamin C dosage should be built up gradually, and the same is also true for lowering the dose of vitamin C, in order for our bodies to adjust to the change. Going slowly prevents aggressive reaction from dying off microbes (Herxheimer reactions) which comes with a little fatigue feeling when you first start detoxifying.
In time of illness, you can gradually increase vitamin C by 2 to 4 grams each hour until your tummy starts to gargle or you have a loose stool. This is what is known as a titrating doses of vitamin C.
For those who are concerned that vitamin C will increase their blood sugar levels, well, it seems that it doesn’t even at doses of 2 grams every 3 hours.
If you would like to detox and nourish your body using Vitamin C, try aloe Vera pure gel mixed with almond milk.
But to get effective result-----i would try Liposomal Vitamin C.

Hint: My experience with Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C is a bit untasteful because it literally taste more like a salty snort. The taste is hard to swallow but what i did is this: Before a meal, on empty stomach, i take the dietary supplement 1 to 2 times per day. I snip off the notched end of the packet, squeeze into one or more ounces of pure delicious concentrate orange juice. This way, i don’t taste the harsh taste of the vitamin C---LIPOSOMAL. I use Lypo-Sphere Vitamin C made by LivOn laboratories. It is non Sugar based, Non-Gmo, Gluten free, Hexane Free.

What other things could you do to help your body and mind improve? What other great source of Vitamin C would you recommend?

Goji berry

Lemon in water.
I add lemon to my water before drinking it.
Tip: I also eat from other vitamin C source like taking a raw bite of sweet mini bell peppers, it tastes delicious when sauteed in light garlic seasoning with natures sweet cherubs tomatoe, tiny pinch of red onions, olives in unrefined, cold expelled olive oil or sunflower oil. You serve this as a side dish vegetable along with a small bowl of rice or potatoes. Yummy!

Toxic Napoli----How Dioxin causes Harm to the health of people and farm animals in Italy

What is Dioxin?
Dioxin is a Organic toxic chemical substance that persistently  accumulates in our environment. It is not degradable in our environment and once your body is contaminated by it from may be the food you eat or your environment, it dissolves and accumulates in the fat tissues of the body. It could cause mutatations, cancer and fatality. DDT and dioxin is both highly toxic to humans and animals.

Dioxin contaminates our environment through sewage sludge, the burning of PVC  plastic or similar plastics, during the manufacture of herbicides and pesticides, manufacture of bleached paper, and possibly some personal hygiene products containing harmful ingredients that are dumped in our landfill which may contaminate our water supply and farm lands---water-sewage; an example of a clear case of dioxin contamination is occurring in many parts of Italy which is currently an environmental, ethical and health problem for the people who live in this toxic areas in Italy.

Humans can be exposed to Dioxin --(PCDDs, PCDFs, and PCBs) accidental in an occupation or in their environment. Eating food contaminated with dioxin; for example food like vegetables and fruits from farm land that is high in dioxin, feed used to raise cattle, eating chicken and farmed fish, and other processed food.Over 90 percent of human background exposure is estimated to occur through the diet, with food from animal origin being the predominant source through bioaccumulation in terrestrial and aquatic food chains.

This Video below is in Italian language so pay close attention to the caption below----A video about how toxins like dioxin are terribly harmful to health and nature.

Toxic City

Toxins are everywhere; in the food we eat, the water we drink, the air we breathe. Luckily, they have little effect on us in small doses. Although, when they accumulate in our bodies through repeated exposure, they can be harmful. And their number is growing, due to the invention of new chemicals for industrial and scientific uses. Not to scare you away but you might want to take a look at these harsh looking one's below for your own safety while shopping for home accessories, fashion wears, food items, cleaning and personal hygiene product.

Phthalates is a class of compounds derived from phthalic acid with many common household uses
Sources: plastic softener, perfumes, hairsprays, lubricants, wood finishers, new-car smell.

Dangers: cancer; phthalates also inhibit sexual development of male babies in utero.

Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs)
A group of compounds used in the manufacture of many industrial items from plastic to insulation.

Sources: Fish, soil, drinking water, indoor air.

Dangers: impairment of immune system and reproductive system, cancer, impairment of child neurological development.

Formaldehyde
A colorless gas used primarily as a disinfectant and preservative.

Sources: carpets, plastics, paper products, shampoos, bath products.

Danger: cancer

Carbamate insecticides, Triazine herbicides, and nitrates
Common pesticides.

Sources: water supply

Dangers: detrimental effects on nervous, immune, and endocrine systems.

Dioxins
Toxic compounds usually occurring as waste products of industrial processes such as pesticide manufacture.

Sources: dairy products, meat, fish, shell fish.

Dangers: impairment of immune system, endocrine system, nervous system, and reproductive functions.

Heavy Metals
Metallic elements with specific gravity five or more times that of water, such as mercury, copper, arsenic, lead, cadmium, iron, and manganese.

Sources: fish, contaminated water, soil, badly fitted fillings, lipstick (in the case of lead).

Dangers: headache, fatigue, anemia, dizziness, constipation, tremors, cancer.

Phenol is a suspected human carcinogen that also can cause skin eruptions and peeling, swelling, pimples, hives, burning, gangrene, numbness, vomiting, circulatory collapse, paralysis, convulsions, cold sweats, coma, and death.

Pentachlorophenol is a carcinogen that can also cause central nervous system depression, light headed, dizziness, sleepiness, nausea, tremor, loss of appetite, disorientation, and liver damage.

Naphthalene is a suspected human carcinogen, naphthalene can promote skin irritation, headache, confusion, nausea and vomiting, excessive sweating, and urinary irritation. Exposure to a sufficient quantity can lead to death.

Benzene is carcinogenic. It also can cause drunk like behavior, lightheaded-ness, disorientation, fatigue and loss of appetite.

Cresol can be absorbed through the skin and mucous membranes to affect the central nervous system, liver, kidneys, lungs, pancreas, and spleen. Symptoms of toxicity include dermatitis, digestive disturbances, faintness, vertigo, mental changes, sweating, pallor, weakness, headache, dizziness, ringing in the ears, shock, delirium, skin numbness and discoloration, and death.

Flame retardants
used in clothing and mattress/bedding production---TRIS,  is a leading flame retardant that has been proven mutagenic and carcinogenic to animals. Studies have shown that TRIS can be absorbed through the skin from garments washed more than fifty times.  Some clothing and household materials are treated with  tetrakis (hydroxymethyl) phosphonium sulfate (THPS), Phenol, polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs), polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), and tetrakis (hydroxylmethyl) phosphonium chloride (THPC), another retardant, that release formaldehyde when fabric is wet.

Do it yourself chemical dyes contain highly carcinogenic dichlorobenzidene,  which is very easily absorbed through the  skin. They can cause anemia; jaundice; damage to the central nervous system, kidneys, and liver; and death. Azo, basic, disperse, fiber-reactive, and vat dyes all can cause allergic reactions, as can florescent whitening agent.

Your alternative choice will be organic clothing or flame retardant free cotton or wool material.

Methylene chloride is a suspected human carcinogen that may be mutagenic.
Xylene----prolonged exposure to xylene may cause nausea, vomiting, excessive salivation, cough, hoarseness, feelings of euphoria, headaches, giddiness, vertigo, ringing in the ears, confusion, coma, and death.

Trichloroethylene is a suspected human carcinogen, trichloroethylene is mutagenic.

Symptoms of exposure include gastrointestinal upset, central nervous system depression, narcosis, heart and liver malfunctions, paralysis, nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and psychotic behavior.

Sulfur compounds (including potassium and sodium bisulfate and metabisulfite, sulfur dioxide, and sulfuric acid)----sulfur compounds can cause fatal allergic anaphylactic shock and asthma attacks. They destroy vitamin B1 (thiamin); have mutagenic effects on viruses, bacteria, and yeast; and can be synergistic with carcinogens to make them more potent.

Saccharin causes cancer.
Sucrose (sugar, corn sugar/syrup, dextrose, glucose syrup, invert sugar/syrup, maple sugar/syrup) Use of sucrose can lead to nutritional deficiencies, lowered resistance to disease, tooth decay, diabetes, hypoglycemia, coronary disease, obesity, ulcers, high blood pressure, vaginal yeast infection, and osteoporosis.

Asbestos fibers in building materials can affect every organ of the body if you are exposure to it. Illnesses caused by aabestos exposure include asbestosis, a chronic lung disease; and mesothelioma, an often fatal form of cancer. The EPA announced in 1972 that there is no safe level of asbestos exposure, as any exposure to the fibers involves some health risk.

Ammonia (including ammonium chloride, Ammonium hydroxide, Benzalkonium chloride, and quaternary ammonium compounds): These substances cause irritation of eyes and respiratory tract, conjunctivitis, laryngitis, tracheitis, pulmonary edema, pneumonitis, and skin burn.

    Hydrogenated oil
The hydrogenation of oil into hard fat (margarine, vegetable shortening) destroys or deforms the essential fatty acids in the oil. Lack of essential fatty acids can contribute to neurological disease, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, skin diseases, cataracts, arthritis, high blood cholesterol levels, and cancer.

Vaccine

Chlorine (including chlorine dioxide and sodium hypochlorite).

symptoms of chlorine toxicity include pain and inflammation of the mouth, throat, and stomach; erosion of mucous membranes; vomiting; circulatory collapse; confusion; delirium; coma; severe respiratory-tract irritation; pulmonary edema; skin eruptions. Exposure has been linked to high blood pressure, anemia, diabetes, and heart disease, and causes a 44-percent greater risk of gastrointestinal or urinary-tract cancer.
Clinical observation by medical doctors has shown that reactions to chlorine also can occur from chlorine fumes rising from hot or cold running tap water, including such symptoms as red eyes, sneezing, skin rashes, and fainting or dizziness while taking shower or washing dishes.

A reason to consider getting a good alkaline reverse osmosis water filter.

12 simple things you can do to reduce your trash and improve your environment---Mother earth will love this:

Recycling turns materials that would otherwise become waste into valuable resources. According to National environmental protection agency collecting used bottles, cans, and newspapers and taking them to the curb or to a collection facility contributes recycling benefits to our communities financially, environmentally and socially.

12 simple things you can do to reduce your trash and improve your environment---Mother earth will love this.

  1. Number one: Instead of using Disposable paper Napkins-try using cotton hand cloth that can be washed and reused.
  2. Try using cotton cloth---"Napkin diapers"  that is safe ---without toxic chemicals, can be washed and reused instead of disposable diapers.
  3. Separate your trash to avoid mixing plastics, paper and food peels together in the trash, it will keep your trash clean and will make recycling easier. Plastic grocery bags-reusable bags can be used as a great alternative for small trash cans in your home.
  4. Refill your old printer cartridges instead of buying new cartridges---this way you will save money, time and the environment.
  5. Invest in rechargeable batteries instead of disposable batteries. Recycling batteries keeps hazardous metals out of landfills. Some companies, like Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corporation, Radio-shack and Office Depot, accept reusable ones. The Car batteries contain lead and can’t go in landfills, because toxic metals can leach into groundwater, but you can take it to the retailer selling them and have them collect it and recycle them.
  6. Opt to receive statements and bills electronically using internet when possible instead of paper mails that will junk your home over time.
  7. Use Eco-friendly food plastic or glass containers  to store your food or snacks ---avoid plastic wraps and foil. Opt for real plates whenever possible instead of paper or plastic plates.
Instead of buying big bottles of ice or sweet tea at the grocery; try to make one at home when you can and store it in a reusable water-bottle. Reusable bottles is the way to go.
  8. For shaving or waxing, i would suggest a tweezer,  waxing gel like Gigi all purpose honey waxing gel at sally beauty stores instead of using razors and it does last longer without adding more plastics waste to the land fill.
  9.  Buy facial soap made with organic/herbal ingredients that is packaged in paper instead of plastics or you can buy products made by Eco-friendly companies like seventh generation, Enviro-One, Vermont organics etc and then recycle the bottles.
  10. Many things that are not easily decomposed in landfills or recyclable, needs to be eliminated from your Eco-friendly home whenever possible.
  11. Keep your sinks and surrounding clean and last but not the least, grow greener herbs and plants like rosemary, sage, eucalyptus to repel mosquitoes and other bacteria carrying pest.
  12. Remember to keep your focus on living healthier to achieve a nontoxic lifestyle for yourself, your home and family. Keep it real simple---do what you can......no rules.
Benefits of recycling---why recycle By National environmental protection agency

Recycling protects and expands US manufacturing jobs and increases US competitiveness.  Recycling reduces the need for land-filling and incineration. Recycling prevents pollution caused by the manufacturing of products from virgin materials.
    Recycling saves energy.
Recycling decreases emissions of greenhouse gases that contribute to global climate change.
Recycling conserves natural resources such as timber, water, and minerals.
Recycling helps sustain the environment for future generations. For more info on recycling go to http://www.epa.gov/osw/conserve/rrr/recycle.htm

Below is a little disadvantage of recycling i would like you to see this video by penn and teller----if you're under 21 please opt out of this video......(language).

Helpful Tips that can help you help your liver?

In our civilized lifestyle we are bugged down by stress, poor diet, smoke, environmental pollutants and excessive alcohol, over-medication, toxins or waste products in our blood stream that cause the liver to function sluggishly and when your blood is loaded with toxins due to a weak and inefficient liver, there is limited capacity for the blood to carry nutrients and oxygen supply for the brain and other parts of the body. As a result, tissue and organ cells are malnourished. If left untreated the cells will begin to age and eventually die.The brain needs oxygen to function properly but when the liver is not functioning properly, in essence filtering and circulating good blood, oxygen cannot be distributed to the brain—(the brain makes up only 2% of our body weight but it needs 20% of our oxygen supply).  You should know that the liver is the most emotion sensitive organ and its weakness is linked to emotional sensitivity or some kind of toxicity. Individuals who are emotionally sensitive are more prone to liver damage—weak liver. Poor liver contributes to faster skin aging. When the liver is not functioning properly, you feel constant fatigue, memory-loss, insomnia, and thyroid problems which then lead to weight gain or obesity. Malfunctioning of the liver and kidneys is the leading cause of Alzheimer disease, Brain tumor, insomnia, memory loss, night blindness—vision problems, stroke, dizziness-fatigue-poor energy level, deafness, headaches, tinnitus, fainting-convulsion, stiff muscle, weak tendons, age-related vision problems, etc.
According to the Chinese, the liver and kidneys are the organs that "age" us. That is why almost all longevity herbs used in Chinese medicine is liver and kidney tonics. An efficient liver and kidney is the key for health and vital energy, so we have put together some helpful tips that can help you help your liver.

Alpha-Lipoic acid, a powerful antioxidant, has been used successfully to treat alcohol-induced liver damage. It aids in protecting the liver and pancreas from alcoholic damage. You can get alpha lipoic acid from eating spinach, broccoli, potatoes, brewer’s yeast and alpha lipoic supplement.

Vitamin E in its natural form is known as d-alpha-tocopherol is more available for the body and it is a potent powerful antioxidant that prevents cell damage that can be caused by free radicals by inhibiting the oxidation of lipids (fats in the body). It protects other fat-soluble vitamins from destruction by oxygen. Vitamin E improves oxygen utilization, vitamin A utilization and boost immune system. Find more info on vitamin E.

Avoid saturated fats and fried foods, which put stress on the liver. For essential fatty acids, use primrose oil supplements plus small amounts of cold-pressed organic vegetable oils like olive oil, flax-seed oil (lingnan oil).

Go on a ten-day live green juice and half cleansing fast to help remove toxins from the body quickly. Get plenty of rest, especially in the early weeks of recovery, to allow your body to cleanse and repair itself.

Avoid drugs and substance that can be toxic to your liver except those needed prescription that has been prescribed by your physician.

Avoid all alcohol especially if you’re pregnant, suffering cancer or other illness. Total abstinence is an absolute requirement for regaining control over your life. Avoid people, things, and places that are associated with drinking. Make new friendships with people who do not drink. Take up a hobby, become involved in your fitness--exercise to promote self-esteem and provide a productive outlet for energy.

Burdock root is also known as bardana, beggar’s buttons, clotbur, gobo, lappa and thorny burr. It contains phytochemicals such as acetic acid, arctigenin, arctiin, beta-carotene, butyric acid, caffeic acid, chlorogenic acid, costic acid, inulin, isovaleric acid, lauric acid, lignin, myristic acid, propionic acid, sitosterol, stigmasterol and other nutrients such as amino acids, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, silicon, zinc, vitamins B1, B2, B3, and C. Burdock root acts as an antioxidant that can help protect you against cancer by helping control cell mutation. It helps eliminate excess fluid, uric acid, and toxins. It purifies the blood, restores liver and gall bladder function, as well as stimulates the digestive and immune systems. In addition to this, burdock root has antibacterial and antifungal properties; it can help treat skin disorders such as boils, carbuncles, relieve gout and menstrual symptoms. Burdock root can be used as a hair rinse to promote healthy hair and scalp. Take caution when using burdock root because it interfere with iron absorption when taken internally. Also burdock root is not to be used if you’re pregnant, breast-feeding woman, diabetic or have heart or cardiovascular problems.

Red Clover contains pytochemicals like beta-carotene, beta-sitosterol, biochanin, caffeic acid, campesterol, chlorogenic acid, coumarin, coumestrol, daidzein, eugenol, formononetin, genistein, isorhamnetin, methyl salicylate, myricetin, p-coumaric acid, salicylic acid and other nutrients like calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, and zinc, vitamin B3, C, and E.  Red clover has expectorant, antispasmodic and relaxing effect. It helps fight infection and bacterial infection like coughs, bronchitis, inflamed lungs as well as treat inflammatory bowel disorders, kidney problems, skin disorders and liver disease. It can help strengthen the immune system, suppress appetite and purify the blood.

Activated charcoal can help cleanse the blood stream of toxins.

Dandelion root can be boiled and eaten like any other vegetable or salad. It contains phytochemicals like Beta-carotene, beta-sitosterol, caffeic acid, cryptoxanthin, lutein, mannitol, p-coumaric acid, saponin, stigmasterol and other nutrient such as calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, zinc, vitamin B1, B2, B3, and C. Dandelion acts as a diuretic, it cleanses the blood and liver, and increases bile production, reduces serum cholesterol and uric acid levels, improves functioning of the kidneys, pancreas, spleen and stomach, relieves menopausal symptoms. It is very useful for treating anemia, boils, breast tumors, constipation, fluid retention, jaundice, rheumatism, age spot, breast cancer, liver cirrhosis and hepatitis. However, it should not combined with other prescription diuretic and it is not recommended for people with gallstones or biliary tract obstruction.

Silymarin (milk thistle extract) helps repair damage done to the liver. Silymarin is extracted from seeds of the herb milk thistle; silymarin has been used for centuries to treat liver disease. The active ingredients in milk thistle are several types of flavonoids known collectively as silymarin that acts as a powerful antioxidant. Silymarin guards the liver from oxidative damage. It also protects the liver from toxins, drugs, and the effects of alcohol, and promotes the growth of new liver cells. In addition, silymarin increases levels of gluthathione, superoxide dismutase, and catalase, potent antioxidant enzyme that protect the liver. It has been shown to reduce insulin resistance, which may help patients with diabetes in controlling their blood sugar levels.

Curcumin, the yellow pigment in turmeric, is the active ingredient that helps fight free radical damage, protect the liver against toxins, inhibits platelet aggregation, aids circulation, lowers cholesterol levels, and improves blood vessel health. It has antibiotic, anticancer and anti-inflammatory (COX-2 enzyme) properties.

Rosemary fights free radicals, inflammation, bacteria and fungi. It helps detoxify the liver, and has anticancer and anti-tumor properties.

Oregon grape root helps purify the blood and cleanse the liver. In addition to this, it acts as a laxative and can be helpful for acne, psoriasis and other skin conditions.

Psychological support and biofeedback can help prevent liver damage related to stress and emotional problem like depression.

As much as possible, avoid stress. Cultivate patience and live a Nontoxic Lifestyle; this will be needed in the long run for self balance, recovery and it will help your liver function better.

Down to earth eco-friendly tips

The best way to live nontoxic Eco-friendly lifestyle is to live simple, “not  to lower your living standard but incorporate simple things and ways into your life". It will help you appreciate life better and you will be more compassionate about your environment. It takes commitment to make a change and stick with it. Love to live frugal & simple-you'll discover the real taste of life.

Use biodegrade laundry detergents:
Detergents, fabric softeners and bleaches can be toxic to your family and to the environment. Some surfactants and fragrances in laundry detergents contain hormone-disrupting chemicals that can't always be removed by waste water treatment plants; it can harm you and local wildlife. Chlorine bleach creates dangerous byproducts, such as dioxin, when flushed down the drain- this is toxic to humans and aquatic life. Get your clothes clean without all of the pollution by switching to biodegradable toxic free cleaners.  Try non-chlorine bleach such as OxyBoost, baking soda option.

Support local organic farms: Try to locate organic farmers in your area, help to support their farm. Organic food is for optimal health  and organic food produce is best choice because it's grown without pesticide, herbicide and the soil is nurtured without chemicals or cruelty. You can also grow your own plants or start a Gaia's permaculture garden

Plant pleasant scenty indoor and out door plants in your home. Plants use carbon dioxide in their environment and produce oxygen in return; which in turn helps to promote oxygen and pleasant odor in your environment.
Avoid polystyrene containers. Polystyrene- also commonly known as Styrofoam is not accepted by many recycling programs, and is banned in some cities because it takes a long time to decompose. Use reusable cups made of glass, cardboard, bio-plastic or even recyclable plastics.

Change your light Bulbs: Use fluorescent bulbs in your home whenever possible. They cost less to buy, use less energy, and last a lot longer. This means that you don't have to buy new bulbs frequently and you'll also save 543 kWh of electricity and reduce your CO2 emissions by 833 pounds. Remember to turn off electronic appliances and lights when not in use.

Use a clothing rack to dry small load of laundry: Dryers are great for when you need to dry large amounts of clothes at a time, but if you really don't go through all that much laundry at a time, then you should consider getting a clothing rack.Putting the rest of the clothes on a drying rack will save you money and your clothes will last a lot longer.

Set electronic Billing method: Pay bills online or over the phone or set up automatic check payment from your bank account. No envelopes, no papers to trash, no postage and no late fees.

Use reusable bag to shop at the grocery store. If you're using plastic bags from the store, try to reuse it as a trash bag in small trash bins, as a dogie bag instead of just throwing it away as trash. The city sewage and trash system is required to dispose plastic trash properly but we can help reduce the amount of plastic waste we accumulate. A reusable bag helps to reduce plastic trash.

Reuse containers- for e.g; if you purchase oat meal, after the oat meal is finished, you can use the container to store other things (it's usually an air tight container)

Sweep your drive way instead of washing with water host, turn off tap when brushing to conserve water.Try using a more water conserving and efficient method to water your garden.

Use baking soda to clean: Sprinkle a little baking soda on carpets overnight to absorb musty odors.
Open a box of baking soda and keep it in your fridge to absorb bad odors for up to a month.
Sprinkle some baking soda in your trash before inserting your bag, it helps reduce the unpleasant trash bin odor.
Add baking soda to clean and remove gunk on stuff, for e.g when cleaning dishes, pots, cleaning bathroom sinks & toilet or even mopping the floor. Baking soda cleans grease and burnt cooking pots well like zim.
Add baking soda to whites when washing for brightening.

Air freshener: Use pure Aromatherapy oil or flowers such as vanilla extract for freshening your home instead of the toxic brand air freshener or get a nontoxic Air freshener.

Use vinegar and baking soda to clean fridge or glass surfaces like windows and doors---for removing soap or hard-water buildup on chrome fixtures: put tissues over the stained area; pour on vinegar and let it sit for 30minutes; scrub, rinse and buff dry with a soft cloth.

Use hydrogen peroxide to remove mildew, Algae on titles and plastic surface. pour enough to cover area; let it sit an hour, scrub, rinse, and dry.

Become a vegetarian- help stop animal cruelty beginning with yourself. Take a pledge to avoid cruelty to animal by going vegetarian https://secure.peta.org/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=2055 and get Vegan Recipes http://www.peta.org/living/vegetarian-living/free-vegetarian-starter-kit-friend.aspx  Help discourage animal hunting and killing.
Avoid fur and animal clothing at all times; there are other many alternatives.

Finally, Look for ways to conserve & create nontoxic Eco-friendly lifestyle.

Nontoxic Lifestyle Blog

Welcome to Nontoxic Lifestyle !

Welcome to Nontoxic Lifestyle.org we are dedicated to helping people and pets live a healthier lifestyle.

How it Began:

Living and promoting Genuine Nontoxic Tips, secrets & products became my passion when my uncle died of cancer and then my dad was diagnosed with cancer. I was devastated and i lived in fear of losing my mother and father to cancer, then i realized how unhealthy i was living and how much carcinogenic ingredients float into our body through the products we use. Astonished by how very little FDA is doing to protect citizen from carcinogenic product i became Filled with rage with concern for the well being of myself and others. I began to research different products to see which ingredients are carcinogenic and which is healthy. I searched for what works and what is a complete and total waste of time because my desire is to help myself and others live healthier, to create awareness, to provide reliable information and Nontoxic product review to those who may need it.
We live in a world where sickness means income to some. An orthodox doctor may prescribe a medication to relieve the symptoms of the problem you have without holistic check up then once the symptoms are gone, you may return with another symptom that has been initiated by the prescription you took or other factors --- the toxic effects of synthetic antibiotics and then you're back to square one.  With this in mind, i began to make myself --my own personal preventive doctor by staying up to date on my health checkups, dentist visit, exercising, eating healthy whole foods, and building healthy relationship with my pets and the people in my lives.

It did not happen over night, it was a decision i made to create a nontoxic home for myself and my family! I make changes one step at a time.

When i began creating Nontoxic Lifestyle blog, i quit Mary Kay and began to switch to an all nontoxic hygiene and beauty products. First, i searched for affordable organic vegetarian food like Goji berry, and began integrating foods that helps fight cancer to my daily meals. It wasn’t easy at first because organic foods are a tad more expensive than non organic but take it from me it’s a whole lot cheaper than dealing with the high cost of poor health, cancer and emotional effect you could suffer when hormones--glands are not functioning well as a result of your poor nutrition and lifestyle habits!

In the beginning, i was always feeling fatigued, tired and i had poor energy and i began to detox and even though i thought i was eating right, i came to an honest realization that i was doing the right thing, the wrong way. So i eliminated refined sugar, and when i began to eat more green bell peppers, other vegetables, plant based protein, vitamin C supplements, more natural fat like avocado and sunflower etc; i regained my energy. I began to treat my food, body and home well.

“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” ~Hippocrates

Frankly, this is my own version of honest approach to an absolute nontoxic & health, nutrition info & Ayurveda crave. I acquired this obsession at an early age with the help of my mom, who was always into health foods, luscious antioxidant fruits, coconut oil, cocoa butter, flax-seed, aloe vera, whole food supplements etc. The table for loving healthy nutritious food was set for me and my other siblings from childhood. It is true we can't control the world we are born into but we can improve it to the best of our ability. Improve yourself by making healthy and conscious choices in your daily life. Food for Thought---Lifestyle changing Quotes

Daily life is a gift----just like you.
Many at times in Life we're in a hurry or eager to reach the next phase. And when one or more people are driven by ego then we begin to lose our self as though we mean more or less in life; as though life can be bought. Many good people are living in toxins and hard times but we have been given the life we have freely, so why don't we choose to eat healthy and create a less toxic environment; we have a choice, we can choose how we live life.  And if we don't make the choice, soon when our body begins to turn against us, when our body & mind begin to change, we will realize that it is now we must set aside time to reflect on how we live and make changes to live nontoxic, and heal in each moment after from the struggle our body and mind has encountered.

In the end, we will have to find a way to live healthy, to be passionate and conscious in life as we go through it. Why not begin making some lifestyle change now before your health forces you to change.

A healing where healing is healing. Listen, we are here to accept all things but must be wise to know which one to fiddle with". --Onyi A

"The best way to detoxify is to stop putting toxic things into the body and depend upon it's own mechanisms"–Andrew Weil

"To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear"–Buddha

The secret is: Find & Focus on those things that you're passionate about---The more you want it, the more it comes, Be it, wear it, say it, do it, Live it.......because it is that which you're most passionate about that will ignite the happy times into your life.
Remember: "Life doesn't change itself,
you have to change yourself,
if you really want to be free"---Onyi A
