A little hint about my Ginger gal, jealous lemon and sweet Honey
Once upon a time, in the native side of earth called EDEN, a beige color root called ginger spice well known for a herbal warming flavor, which you’ve likely used in cooking. Is called upon by the lady of spells named "NEFERTARI". Everyone considered this lady, a goddess or princess because she's so beautiful, will not tamper with anything toxic and will sit by the river at the country side to get water for her tea. And there a cat also named ginger, would sit by the river each day gazing, hunting and drinking water but the bee by the name honey, isn't ginger's favorite, bee comes to the river too, and he poops out a cold sweet gel like thing into the river every time he sees the princess "Nefertari", to let ginger know of her presence, sweet like candy when mixed with the princess ginger tea but ginger been the cat didn't like it because bitter or sweets weren't a cat's thing; and ginger the cat knows, she is nefertari best but sometimes when nefertari bites sage & plucks cinnamon.
lemon falls from the trees as bees gets jealous, so the goddess will then add lemon for the zest of sourness she provides......to keep the peace and the achoooo's of the season out.
And this terrible folk story brings me to talk about the importance of a hot sweet spice called cinnamon
"Cinnamon is good for cold, stomach chills, arthritis, and rheumatism. Research has highlighted hypoglycemic properties, useful in diabetes. In native remedy,
cinnamon oil has been used in the past to treat a wide range of chronic infections. While in the west, like in America we use the bark of C.zeylanicum, which is rolled into cinnamon sticks especially during the festive season. The chinese use the native variety, C. cassia, and make use of both the bark (rou gui) and the twigs (gui zhi). In china, rou gui is considered very warming and tonifying for the kidneys, a good energizing herb for conditions that can be linked to weak kidney qi (energy): asthma and menopausal syndrome, for example. The inner bark promotes sweating and can be used for "cold" conditions."------from Natural Health, Complete guide to medicinal herbs by Penelope Ody.
