Is the diapers fun and healthy for your baby to wear

In my teen years, i had a good chance in babysitting, i have had first hand experience with cloth diapers:  how to put them on a baby's buttocks, how to snap it close on the sides to prevent it from coming loose, how to keep them clean and organized, how to store it, and even how to make my own cloth diapers with a sewing  machine. In west Africa, laundry services weren't available so we didn't send soiled diapers to the laundry place and we didn't have the
convenience to wash them in the washer and dryer at home, the maids/nannies always washed them by hand and hung them out doors with pegs like hippie's just like we do for all other clothing's. It was quite an experience; and to be honest it's really not hard to do if you're considering using alternative cloth diapers for your babies.
I have heard of some mothers who leave their precious offspring in their soiled diapers with the intent to save money----less washing and less diaper purchase. and to be frank, i find this very appalling, it's like sitting in soaked bloody pads to save money.....very gross and unhealthy. If you can't afford the diapers, i don't know why you considered having the baby to begin with, and am speaking out of concern, not judgmental. Don't make your baby sit in discomfort-- in their own execrate. "Where  there is a will, there is a way", You could learn to sew a few more cloth diapers to help your baby stay healthy. People are making them by hand and selling them on online hand made site like Etsy, plus accessories that one needs to cloth diaper like a boss. "Getting new shipments of cloth diapers is so fetishist that there's even lingo for it: "fluffy mail."
So thinking healthy and raising your baby healthy can be made easier and it is very important, if not the most important thing you can do for a child you love.
On the other hand, what befflufs me is the amount of people talking and throwing parties over this under garments called Diapers, which their babies use to excrete crap. I mean "how did cloth diapers go from being a way to contain a baby's excrement to a lifestyle choice? What's the fluffy bottom fetish about? I mean, how do all these cloth diapering fanatics find the time to gather for one simple diaper?  I understand that having your first born and having to cloth diaper can be "fun" and "easy," but how do people have time to go to cloth diapering Twitter parties and enter cloth diapering giveaways and write blogs solely devoted to cloth diapers"? I didn't know there was so much about baby diapers to talk about.
Now speaking of this, J.J Keith talks about cloth diapering and she says, "it's not the cloth diapering itself that wigs her out. It's the existence of cloth diapering communities. Like, why are there cloth diapering  meet ups? What happens at those gatherings? Is one parent all, "So, do you have a sprayer attachment for your toilet?" and then another parent is like, "I do!" And then
they're both like, "Yay! Twinsies! Let's be friends!"? Because I'm pretty sure that's not enough to build a friendship on. At some point, maybe about an hour into the meeting, does the room go silent and one parent just says, "fluffy bottoms" and then everyone else is all, "Yeah, fluffy bottoms." Because seriously, what is there to talk about? A baby craps, then you change the diaper, and then you wash it instead of throwing it out. How complicated can all this cloth diaper stuff be?
Why is there a cloth diapering subculture? There might as well be subcultures for people who prefer to carry their kids rather than use strollers, or people who fore go store-bought baby food, or people who breastfeed. Oh wait. All of those things have their own subcultures. And ironically, though they're all pitched to new parents and being about support and togetherness, they secretly double as ways for parents to separate themselves from the herd". ----J.J Keith on Huffington post

So are you avoiding the herd too ? Why have you decided to consider alternative cloth diapers  for your baby? well for one i hope your reason is any of these below.
Alternative diapers--cloth diapers would save you money, and I think it will but most importantly, it will help you keep your baby's buttocks clean without using diapers infused or made with carcinogens or petrol- chemicals additives. Conventional diapers seem to be more convenient but it's really not sustainable in the long run especially if you plan on having more than one child. Because conventional diapers are meant to be used once and then disposed while Cloth diapers can be sterilized and recycled to be used more than once if you chose to.
Both kinds of diapers have benefits and drawbacks.

Cloth diapers will help your baby become aware of potty habits---baby will alert you more often if they are soiled for regular changes instead. Cloth diapers does a good job as long as you change your baby as soon as the diaper is soiled. Regular disposables are designed with an absorbent gel, that can hold more fluids away from your baby bums without discomfort. The drawback is that, it may contain fragrances that could end up causing your baby bum rash.
it will also make your baby less aware and as a result your baby may not alert you as often for a change like they would when wearing cloth diapers, so you may  leave your kid in soiled diaper longer than needed which could lead to other skin problems and infections.
But for cloth diapers it is toxic free, how ever, the more absorbent your cloth diaper is, the bulkier it typically is. Some disposable diapers are made with a breathable material that allows for air flow to the infant's skin but most disposables diapers makes it harder to potty train your kid.  Your baby may also develop skin tear from rubbing against the leg gathers or tight waistbands used to make some conventional diapers. If you are experiencing this try a different brand or change to c loth diapers.

Cloth diapers today come in all types, natural blend of cotton that are gel free, perfume free, latex and dye free, with some plastic outer cover to prevent leakage. Including diapers that are made with natural bamboo without toxic chemicals, pure cotton that is soft, some have Velcro closures, elastic leg openings, and an inside fabric that wicks moisture away from your baby's bottom.
