Green
juices or green drinks are great for detoxifying. Green
juices cleanse the body of pollutants and do have renewing, nourishing and
rejuvenating effects on the body, green juices are rich in chlorophyll, which
helps to purify the blood, build red blood cells, detoxify and heal the
body---providing the body with fast rejuvenating energy. Green juices can be
made from a variety of green vegetables like barley grass, wheat grass,
cabbage, kale, spinach, alfalfa sprouts, dandelion greens and other green
vegetables.
To sweeten green juices, you can add stevia, fresh
carrots and apple juice. To lighten the strength adds steam distilled or
purified water. Do not add artificial or commercial fruit juice to your fresh
made green juice.
4-5 carrots
3 sprigs fresh celery or parsley
1 large handful kale
1 beet, including tops
1clove garlic, peeled
¼ head cabbage
Wash all
vegetables thoroughly, peeling the carrots and beet. Cut the vegetables into
pieces small enough to fit into the juicer.
Process the vegetables in the juicer and drink
immediately. Green juices provide great
health benefits; it is recommended you consume about 8 to 10 ounces daily.

After about a week of drinking the green drink I began to feel a radical change in my body. But I felt like I was getting a bit sick from the stuff. Later I learned that its a sign of detoxification. The detox got so bad that I was pretty sick for about 3 days.
