Cannabis sativa L also called Hemp is the unique oilseed and fiber of the plant species Cannabis sativa L. It is a tall, slender, fibrous, annual plant that has been cultivated worldwide for over 10,000 years. Hemp is the most useful and beneficial plant in nature. Hemp is a healing herb in our earth that can help the sick heal and healthy individual maintain optimal health. Marijuana comes from this same plant genus as broccoli and cauliflower. But the strains of hemp used in industrial and consumer products contain only a negligible level of the intoxicating substance delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC. However, industrial grade hemp is a different strain of hemp because it doesn’t get you high like the other strain containing THC which is also called marijuana.
Hemp has anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal properties. Hemp is an even much more favorite than aloe Vera because it contains natural components that help treat cancer and antioxidant properties for every woman's anti-aging goals (packed with anti-aging nutrients); unfortunately this plant has been misunderstood and misrepresented in our society. People and their pets have been hurt for using this plant; see a video about a man with similar story.
Hemp as food:
Hemp seed is drug free and extremely nutritious. Hemp can be eaten whole, pressed into edible oil, protein flour. Hemp is one of the best sources of vegetable protein. Hemp contain full spectrum of essential amino acids and essential fatty acids that helps to lower blood cholesterol and dissolve plague in coronary arteries.
Hemp can be grown almost anywhere; it can provide nutrition for people in arid regions with poor soil that are struggling with hunger like in Saharan Africa, Scandinavia with a short food growing season.
Hemp can be used as oil for hair and skin because it can moisturize and nourish the skin and hair (body). Hemp seed oil has EFA containing polyunsaturated fatty acids, Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9, Linoleic acid, and gamma linoleic acid (GLA’s). Hemp is an excellent source of GLA for the body because GLA is not naturally made in the body.

Paper from hemp:
Hemp's cellulose level is three times more than that of wood, so it makes better paper and yields four times as much pulp per acre as trees. Hemp paper is naturally acid-free. Hemp paper processing uses less energy, and produce less toxic chemicals while tree pulp/paper processing are known to use more energy and produce harmful dioxins, chloroform, other dyes and chlorinated organic compounds that have been identified as byproducts of the wood paper process. Hemp is a sustainable crop that is ready for harvest just 120days after going to seed compared to trees that takes many years to mature. The harvesting of hemp is not destructive to our natural habitat like it is when destroying the rainforest for more paper.
Hemp growers are environmental conscious people compared to their counterparts at the rainforest who are destroying the natural habitat of many plants and animals; community exploitation for profit.

Hemp was an important source of paper fiber until the early 1900's when chemicals were developed to advance the wood paper pulp industry- Wood pulp paper evolution alongside the chemical industry. Let it be known that the U.S constitution was written in hemp paper, it has not gone rot.
Hemp as fuel:
Hemp can be used as combustible oil to fuel machines. The same high cellulose level that makes hemp ideal for paper also makes it perfect for ethanol fuel production. Ethanol can be derived from hemp plant cellulose; Ethanol is the bio-alternative to toxic fossil fuel (gasoline) because it burns clean and produce less harmful residue. “In one test, an unleaded gasoline automobile engine produced a thick, black carbon residue in its exhaust, while the tailpipe of a modified ethanol engine tested for the same 3,500 miles remained pristine and residue-free".
Hemp as fuel for machine is an environmental need because it is helps maintain clean atmospheric air by producing less harmful residues such as carbon monoxide that is normally created when gasoline is burned. Hemp remains a sustainable resource for current scarcity in agricultural growth.
Hemp as paint & plastic:
Hemp oil extract can also be used as an ingredient in nontoxic, biodegradable inks, paints, and varnishes. It is an ideal raw material for plant-based plastics such as cellophane as well as more recently developed cellulose-based plastics.
A man by the name Henry Ford designed the body of an automobile from hemp-based plastic in 1941. The plastic was much lighter than steel and could withstand ten times the impact without denting.
Hemp as textile fiber used in making clothing many years before nylon was patented by DuPont in 1937 hemp was used for clothing, accessories, shoes, parachutes, rigging ropes, twines, painting canvas because it is the strongest and longest of fiber found in plants. for example Ecouterre is a good organic fashion wear designer uses hemp to design dresses.
Hemp was also used for trading in the form of money by the early settlers to pay off debt. Hemp Australia builds dooms, make cosmetics, clothing, food using hemp
Hemp is hard enough for building concrete floors, concrete walls, and buildings.
Hemp crop help to rotate and renew the soil:
Hemp is ideal for environmental conscious farmers worldwide. Hemp doesn’t require much water or irrigation like aloe Vera and will grow in arid regions (places that have desert like weather like the Sahara desert. when harvested, the roots remain and the leaves are returned to the fields meaning more nutrient are preserved in the soil, hemp does not require chemical fertilizers. Hemp is better competitors for space than wild garden weed plant so it doesn’t need herbicide to thrive. Even hemp strains that are 100 percent THC-free produce their own resins that make the crop naturally pest-free, so it doesn't require toxic chemical pesticides. Hemp root is twelve inches long in only thirty days, preventing topsoil erosion. Hemp actually leaves the Eco-system, its natural habitat and the soil less toxic, nurtured-HEALTHY
Hemp is plant like any other plant, Poison Ivy is not illegal but it does more harm to people than hemp plant, Hemp should be legalized for the benefits it provides the world like medicine-(cancer treatment, many life testimonies on how hemp helps to treat cancer), oil, food, protein, clothing, fiber, building material, fuel, beyond the opening of mind/inspiration it brings from it's smoking effects- Hemp is the plant to adore, not the plant to neglect.
