- De-congest & nose Allergy Recipe: Boil water; add it to a ceramic bowl. Add orange oil and eucalyptus oil to De-congest sinus and mucus clogging your air way. Place a towel over your head. Put your face over the bowl not too close to avoid burning yourself. keep your face over the steam for 10mins- you will feel a difference in your air way. *This recipe will open up your skin pores so you will need to close your pores after wards with a splash of mild cold water.
Disadvantages of showering with warm water:
- It can dry out the skin and hair thereby causing it to become ashy, scaly and itchy. It could cause eczema in some people.
- It causes the skin to wrinkle faster.
- It can cause a burn.
- It could also cause hyper pigmentation of the skin in some people.
- Hot water could make you more tired. Reduce fertility and sperm counts in men; in the old times it was used as contraceptive for men who didn’t want any baby.
- Because warm water is a relaxant it can become addictive to take long shower meaning longer exposure to water contaminants if you don’t have a filter although the benefits of taking warm water may outweigh the fears of water contaminants such as chlorine invading your skin and hair. More water consumption- won’t help you conserve water as much as you would when using cold water.
- It takes more electricity to heat up water therefore high water bills- so to reduce your water bills turn it down a notch or switch out into bathing with cold water.
